The AVHP6800DVD is our ultimate AV receiver that now includes a "6 DVD/CD Player" built in along with the other entertaining functions and features. You can now load up to 6 of your favorite movies or CD's to entertain friends and family for that long or short trip. Entertainment made easy and definitely enjoyable.

MP3/WMA Playback

Take your digital music files with you, whether theyre MP3 or WMA format. Burn files onto one CD-R and play them in any mix you want. Use the touch-panel to easily navigate through your file and folder lists to find exactly the song you are in the mood for.

Available Bluetooth Wireless Technology*

Use the AVHP6800DVD with Bluetooth wireless technology enabled cellular phones for easy, safe, and hands-free operation, including talking via the headunit's microphone and your vehicle's speaker system. The system automatically mutes any other audio during incoming or outgoing calls. You can store the phone book, then access it by voice or the touch screen display.

Touch Panel Operation

Using the touch panel system is a snap. Just touch large, bright icons on the screen to navigate menus and enjoy the enhanced interface features. This allows you to control the entire in-car system just by touching the on-screen buttons. The touch panel technology is fast, intuitive and precise, which makes it perfect for in-car use.

"Factory-Fit" Style

The AVHP6800DVD is designed for a perfect fit in many vehicles that feature a "double-DIN" size. The system seems to melt into the dashboard, providing a fit and finish similar to the factory systems.

Satellite Radio Ready? Ready.

Satellite Radio. Its digital, high-quality programming beamed from satellites. And the signal that doesnt fade, no matter where you drive. It offers commercial-free music of nearly every genre, plus talk, news, sports, weather, and more. There are two companies that offer this great product XM Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio and the AVHP6800DVD is compatible with both of these subscription-based services. So you choose - either XM Radio with the GEXP920XM, or Sirius Radio with the SIRPNR2 (or even both!).

Enhanced Graphical XM Audio Interface

When combined with the GEXP920XM, the AVHP6800DVD features a new user-friendly interface. Channel categories come with specific icons, for intuitive selection among corresponding channels. Up to 12 favorite songs on XM Radio can be registered using the "MEMO" key. If a registered song is playing on another channel, a notification will pop up and ask if you would like to change to the channel currently playing the song.

iPod Adapter Ready with Enhanced Touch-Panel Interface

Pioneer's CDIB100II or CDIB100 iPod adapter permits direct control and playback of iPod through the touch-panel. The AVHP6800DVD can be connected with an iPod via this dedicated adapter, and using the touch panel, listeners can play iPod-recorded songs, scroll through the music library on their iPod, or select from several functions like Shuffle playback.

Vehicle Dynamics Processor Ready

The optional AVGVDP1 is Pioneer's Solution for Performance-Minded automobile enthusiasts, and takes car performance analytics to the next level. The unit detects a wide range of real-time vehicle performance data including acceleration, lateral G-forces, estimated horsepower, and torque, in addition to speed and RPM. Additionally, the GPS locator provides current vector information, as well as current location by longitude, latitude, altitude, and distance to destination. The unit displays the results on a connected Pioneer Audio/Video monitor with smart, full-color graphics that add style to the dashboard.

Rear View Camera Capability

Keep an eye on your backside using the optional Rear View Camera (NDBC1): while youre in reverse the rear-view camera can be in full screen. An unit equipped with the optional rear-view camera adds a level of safety and assurance you can rely on. In addition to keeping you and your family safe, this feature also makes maneuvering in tight spaces easier.
